Practice Standards

Infection Control

All procedures within the practice comply with current best practice.

All staff undergo annual training to keep up to date with new guidelines.

We have an open door policy on our sterilisation rooms, if you wish to view these areas please ask a member of staff.

Quality Policy:

  • Our Practice aims to provide dental care of a consistently high-quality for all patients.
  • The Practice follows high standards of cross infection, hygiene and sterilisation. Each team member is thoroughly trained to maintain these levels for your dental care.
  • We regularly ask you about your general health and about any medicines being taken. This helps us to treat you safely. We will keep all information about you confidential.
  • We screen all patients for mouth cancer at routine check ups and advise about associated risks.
  • In proposing treatment, we will take account of your own wishes. We will explain options, treatments where appropriate where appropriate, and costs, so that you can make an informed choice. We will always explain what we are doing.
  • We welcome patient feedback on our services, both good and bad. We have systems in place to ensure any concerns are investigated and if necessary, acted upon.
  • We strive to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Regular staff meetings are held in order to improve our levels of service.
  • We keep up to date with current thinking on all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetic dentistry and preventive care.
  • All staff take part in continuous professional education and training meeting the General Dental Council’s requirements.

Staff Training:

All our support staff are either qualified Dental surgery assistants, registered with the General Dental Council, or attend a college course working towards a dental nursing qualification

We are committed to ensuring your visit to the practice is as pleasurable as possible as such we hold monthly staff meetings to help us achieve a level of service and care you will appreciate.

All our dentists and hygienists are committed to continuing professional education, meeting the General Dental Council's requirements. We aim to keep up-to-date with current thinking on all aspects of general dentistry including preventive care, which reduces your need for treatment.
